About Down Sista: I designed this handmade zine, which was the final project for my Reporting/Gender and Sexuality course (Fall 2022). The zine’s audience was directed towards women, especially women of color, in which I could share content to inspire and uplift rather than discourage—like frequently consumed content that focusses on trauma. This zine features collaborations with two other contributors.
